Library haul – March 2021

I have too many books checked out of the library. It wasn’t intentional, these just all became available at the same time. I like the mix, though – seven different genres for any mood:

  • fiction
  • non-fiction
  • graphic novel
  • mystery
  • romance
  • YA sci-fi
  • fantasy

I started reading two of these this morning: Take a Hint, Dani Brown and Luster. Take a Hint is the second in the Brown sisters trilogy. So funny. So steamy. I don’t know why it isn’t labeled Romance.

Luster was on a lot of lists as a must-read and it sucked me in with the first few pages. But it’s the second story I’ve read this year about a young woman and a much older, like 20+ years older, man. (The first was My Dark Vanessa which I didn’t review. It was a lot to take in, still not sure how I feel about it. Well-written, and well-plotted, but did I like it? Dunno.) Anyway, I just noticed it. I still want to read on…

I also started to flip through The Rabbi’s Cat, the graphic novel. Apparently the cat is a philosopher and can talk 🙂

Are you compelled to check one or more of these out? Let me know! And if you’ve read one, tell me what you think!
